the new look

A reader asked why he could not post comments, and so began a sordid tale whose painful details I will spare you.

The short version: when I first built the site, I hacked a WordPress theme without regard for WordPress conventions. I made things look more or less the way I wanted, but in doing so I deleted the code that provided for comments. Rather than fix this butchered theme, I grabbed another off the shelf. It should be now possible to post comments, and the site is more colorful.
