The Internet: threat, or menace?
Elections are coming ’round real soon now, so it’s time to concoct a bunch of ill-considered, futile, intrusive, and just plain stupid new laws. The techno nitwits are rushing to regulate the internet. CNN has a depressing list of idiocies Congress is preparing to inflict on us. But it’s all to protect the children, so bend over.
