Are you a district attorney? If so, you need to know the the three warning signs that your high visibility case may be going down in flames.

1: A Congressman from your own state asks the Department of Justice to investigate you for prosecutorial misconduct.

2: One of your expert witnesses testifies under oath that you conspired with him to withhold exculpatory forensic evidence.

3: Saturday Night live does a skit like this one.

It seems to me that Mr. Nifong has much to answer for. Someone asked me in disbelief how a prosecutor could intentionally ruin the lives of three innocent people. It’s simple: the three in question are rich white men, ergo they cannot be innocent.
