Switching host provider

I am moving the site to a new host. I hope everything will go without a hitch, but there may be some service interruption. The address of this site will not change.

UPDATE: Well, I made the move, but it was not entirely smooth. My original plan was to both move to the new host and upgrade to WordPress 2.1 simultaneously and seamlessly. I’ll spare you the details of my scheme.

Looking back it almost worked, but I forgot that I need to change the .htaccess file to accomodate the style of permalinks on this site. When I brought up the site, links did not work. I wasn’t sure what had gone wrong. So I blew away all my work, installed WP from scratch on a fresh database, and brought up an empty site. I then imported the sql dump from the old site (which I had converted to the WP 2.1 schema). Still didn’t work. After a moment of frustration, I remembered the .htaccess file. Popped in a copy of my old .htaccess file, and everything was fine.
