I never would have believed that I would run an Obama ad on Carnal Reason, but this one is just that good.

You guys will never let go of that ad! Thank the gods Hitler and Stalin are gone, or we’d see the colorful lady with the hammer chuckin’ it at them. At least the Osama bin Obama people could make use of it. Last timeI saw it used was a Simpson’s episode. I had to explain it tomy kids, 12 and 9.
Hey, duh-ya-think this ad is going to be one of those generational touchstones like LOu Gehrig’s “This day is the happiest day of my life” clip?

The thing is, that ad exactly depicts my visceral reaction to Senator Clinton. If anything, it softens her a bit.

But you are right that the ad does have a special place in the hearts of mac fans. I liked the morphing of the old rainbow Apple into an Obama “O” at the end of the ad.

That said, I think Obamba is an empty suit. He is John Edwards with the advantage of being black, and without the delusional narcissism..
