Credit where credit is due. The second cartoon is from XKCD, by Randall Munroe. Mr. Munroe is a geek’s geek, and a very fine cartoonist. I don’t know who drew the first cartoon. If you do, post a comment and I’ll update the attribution.

    I know whenever I have a difficult restorative case I look in People magazine to see if Brad Pitt or Sean Penn have any dental advise. I glade to see you and I look to the same sources.
