The Chicago Sun-Times quotes Terry McAuliffe as suggesting that Hillary and Obama might run on the same ticket.
MADISON, Wis. — The national chairman of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign says she could end up on the same ticket with rival Barack Obama. Terry McAuliffe told a business group in Madison on Tuesday it ‘‘sure is’’ possible the former first lady and the Illinois senator could become running mates.
I don’t see what’s in it for Obama. Given his current standings, why would he settle for VP? As for an Obama-Clinton ticket, I don’t think Hillary has it in her to play second fiddle again. Besides, if Obama took Hillary as VP, he would be have to suffer having Bill Clinton underfoot.

Setting “Bill underfoot” aside, all the Obama and Clinton camps are doing now is posturing to leave the possibility open. I agree it is not likely, but any serious discussions of the V.P. slot can’t get started until after next Tuesday’s Ohio and Texas Democratic primaries.
That aside, I agree with you — I don’t think it will happen.
Get’ em both on the ticket and change the party name to The Bolsheviks!
Is there really a difference between the two, except that detail about how each would shove socialized medicine down our throats? The seemingly inexorable goosestep of the national socialist party continues on. Throw in the free speech repressing youth movement and the green movement and I harken back back to to those dreamy days of 1930s’s Deutschland.
