Crazy.

I was surfing YouTube tunes again. Thought you might enjoy this one, featuring Diana Krall, Willie Nelson, and Elvis Costello.

  1. Patsy Cline; I hang an every line.

  2. Ain’t that sum-thin’? Willie wrote that song in 1961. I was four years old. Elvis was Elvis and Costello was Lou and Declan McManus wasn’t even born. That is timeless music that spans the generations. I get goose flesh when I hear Patsy sing it still.

  3. I embarrassed yet proud to admit, on my solo quest for the greats, I found Patsy via Declan Patrick’s “Almost Blue” album. I told myself at the time, “I’ve gotta find out who this Patsy Cline lady is.” Now, she and Roy Orbison are the leaders of my pack.

I’ve seen each of this artists, separately, and ‘liver than we’ll ever be’. The synergistic combination is music for the gods. Great find pwyll.
