Physicist John Archibald Wheeler has died at age 96. Richard Feynman, a student of Wheeler, is said to have remarked “Some people think Wheeler’s gotten crazy in his later years, but he’s always been crazy.” Considering the source, that was a great compliment.

Alright, here’s something to look forward to. Frank Miller’s 300 is being adapted into a movie. Check out the amazing trailers at Apple.com.
If this movie looks good to you, be sure to read Steven Pressfield’s Gates of Fire. I am not usually interested in historical fiction, but Gates of Fire kicks ass.
